Refrigeration R-290 and R600a Blend Refrigerant Gas


R290 (Propane) is refrigerant grade propane, used as an alternative to R404A and R407 series refrigerants in new refrigeration and air conditioning systems. R290 (Propane) is a Hydrocarbon and although highly flammable it is an efficient refrigerant which has a lower Global Warming Potential (GWP).

 

R290 can be used as refrigerant to replace R22 and R502, compatible with the original system and lubricants.

Isobutane (CH3) 2CHCH3 (R600a), molecular weight 58.12, boiling point -11.80ºC, critical temperature 134.98ºC critical pressure 3.66MPa, ozone destruction potential value (ODP) is 0, global warming coefficient (GWP) is 0.1.

 

Main use: R600a refrigerant is mainly used to replace CFC-12 refrigerant used in refrigerators and freezers. 20kg/ bottle, 50kg/ bottle; Cylinder packing.
