Rubber Insulation Copper Tube-Pair Coil or Single Coil

* Product Definition: A composite insulated pipe consisting of a seamless copper pipe as the inner carrier and an outer layer of modified NBR/PVC rubber plastic foam (using nitrogen-charged foaming technology). It combines the excellent thermal conductivity of copper pipes with the superior insulation properties of rubber plastic, utilizing polymer blending foaming technology and pure nitrogen foaming process.
 
 * Application Scenarios: Central air conditioning refrigerant lines, heat exchangers and piping systems, building hot/cold water supply and drainage, industrial low temperature equipment and piping, refrigeration equipment piping, public buildings requiring high fire resistance ratings.

 * Working Principle:The copper pipe conveys the hot/cold medium. The outer closed-cell foam layer traps stagnant air/nitrogen, blocking heat conduction and convection while preventing water vapor permeation and condensation, achieving energy savings and system stability.

* Copper tube: TP2/C12200 phosphorus-deoxidized copper, 99.9% purity (Chilean cathodes), soft annealed for flexibility. Complies with ASTM B280, JIS H3300, EN 12735-1.
 
 * Insulation: Three-layer composite (outer UV-resistant embossed PE film + middle cross-linked closed-cell polyolefin/PE foam + inner moisture barrier). Density 0.023-0.04 g/cm³, temperature range -60~120°C, water absorption ≤120 mg/cm², flame retardant UL94 HF-1/B1 (UL certified optional).
 
 * Process: Melting → casting → rolling → continuous drawing → annealing → eddy current testing → insulation lamination → coiling → factory cleaning + dust caps. Production certified to ISO 9001 & ISO 14001.

Installation Precautions

* Three essentials: Cleanliness, dryness, airtightness.

* Cutting: Use tube cutter, deburr – never use a saw.

* Bending: Use bending springs – minimum radius 3-4× OD, avoid kinking.

* Brazing (if required): Purge with nitrogen throughout (0.05-0.3 MPa); protect PE foam with a wet cloth when working near insulation.

* Leak test & vacuum: Nitrogen pressure test; evacuate to below -0.1 MPa, hold for 1 hour with no rise.

* Penetrations & sealing: Use wall sleeves; joints must not be inside sleeves; wrap all joints tightly with UV-resistant
insulation tape.

 Required Qualifications

 * Professional Installation: In most regions (e.g., Australia), installation is NOT DIY. It requires a licensed HVAC technician.
 * Refrigerant Handling: Technicians must hold relevant licenses (e.g., ARCTICK) to legally handle and charge refrigerants like R32 or R410A.
 * Brazing Certification: Specialized qualifications may be required for structural brazing in commercial settings.
